Pampered Pooch

Remember all those Saturdays spent with friends at Pampered Chef cooking shows? The kitchen gadgets were so cool, the food was delicious, and we always ate way too much! Well how do we bring back the days of old, spend a little extra time with our four-legged friends, and preserve our figures? It's easy...Pampered Pooch! Invite your friends and their dogs and cats to cook up a little muttloaf or some savory snickerpoodles. My little guy loves the frozen peanut butter yogurt treats. Just melt the peanut butter, mix it with yogurt and put the mixture in the freezer. For our feline friends, they will love these cat crackers:

6 oz. undrained tuna
1C Cornmeal
1C Flour
1/3 C. Water

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands and roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into treat sized pieces. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

Reigning Cats and Dogs offers the top-notch cookbooks, and they have several "treat" cutters for the cutest shapes and sizes. Even look out for those printed aprons for your canine chefs.
