Chicken, Bacon, and Peanut Butter Bubbles!!

Everyone knows dogs love food! Dogs love playing with bubbles too! So why not give them both at once? Now your dogs can play with bubbles and get a great scent at the same time, with chicken, bacon, and peanut butter scented bubbles! ActiveDogToys.com has a whole array of great toys including scented bubbles! Their products include jumbo bubble machines, compact bubble guns, and much much more!

According to most veterinarians, dogs need lots of exercise to keep them healthy. Exercise can improve their bone and joint health, as well as their heart and lungs. Dogs that exercise everyday also tend to live longer, have more energy, and even be more well behaved. These bubble machines are a great way for you and your dog to have fun at the same time! Plus, all this exercise will keep your dog feeling healthy and strong. Soon your dog will be jumping, chasing, and running around trying to catch all these yummy smelling bubbles!

Check out how much fun these dogs are having with bubbles!

What's new in Pet Grooming

Since many of you and your pets would like to avoid bad hair days and any hair cutting incidents, we have assembled a few helpful tips and websites.
•Start clipping your dog as early as possible, even as a puppy. Getting an older dog used to the clippers is much harder than training a puppy to accept them.
•Compare the sound level of various clippers and choose the quietest one. Loud buzzing would scare humans, too!
•Read about your dog's breed standard. Often, you can get clues about how your dog's coat should look and how to make it look that way.
•Be sure your clipper blades are sharp. Dull clippers pull hair more.
•Choose the clipper blade that works best with the specific type of coat your dog has so you achieve the result you want.

Pampered Pooch

Remember all those Saturdays spent with friends at Pampered Chef cooking shows? The kitchen gadgets were so cool, the food was delicious, and we always ate way too much! Well how do we bring back the days of old, spend a little extra time with our four-legged friends, and preserve our figures? It's easy...Pampered Pooch! Invite your friends and their dogs and cats to cook up a little muttloaf or some savory snickerpoodles. My little guy loves the frozen peanut butter yogurt treats. Just melt the peanut butter, mix it with yogurt and put the mixture in the freezer. For our feline friends, they will love these cat crackers:

6 oz. undrained tuna
1C Cornmeal
1C Flour
1/3 C. Water

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands and roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into treat sized pieces. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

Reigning Cats and Dogs offers the top-notch cookbooks, and they have several "treat" cutters for the cutest shapes and sizes. Even look out for those printed aprons for your canine chefs.

My Furry Valentine: Don't Change a Hair for Me

While listening to Sinatra's version of "My Funny Valentine", I felt inspired to find the perfect Valetine's Day gifts for my furry best friend.

Fortunately, RC&D had everything I need to royally spoil my Valentine on the big day. Kaylee, my two year old Brittany, will be dressed to impress in a new Valentine's Day collar! Since I couldn't make up my mind which one she'll be wearing, I bought all three so she could choose...

No worries cat-lovers! RC&D offers a wide selection of Valentine collars for cats, so your feline friends can be dressed in style, too.

In the past, I've debated whether to buy Kaylee a Valentine's card because she couldn't read it. RC&D now offers edible Valentine's Day cards so our canine companions can finally know how much we care about them.

Other items available at RC&D are Valentine's Day sweatshirts (for humans), Valentine's Day coffee cups (with pictures of our furry Valentines), and of course, heart-shaped treats and toys for both our feline and canine loves! Check out RC&D and shower your pet with Valentine's Day surprises!
